You can find a multitude of adventures unique to Alaska and Kodiak Island at Larsen Bay Lodge - with no crowds. The lodge offers saltwater and freshwater fishing in addition to many non-fishing eco-activities. They have their own fleet of boats, their own floatplane, and experience guides.

World class fishing adventures at Larsen Bay Lodge include all five species of Salmon, Steelhead, and Dolly Varden as well as saltwater fishing in near-shore protected waters for Halibut, Sea Bass, Lingcod, Salmon, Crab and Rockfish, including Yellow-eye, and more.

In addition to the fishing program, Larsen Bay Lodge offers Kodiak bear viewing, ocean wildlife tours, and whale watching. The Kodiak experience is exemplified by the Larsen Bay Lodge field program.

Lodge Details

Lodging includes private beachfront cabins, ensuite rooms in the Main Lodge, and the 4 bedroom/2 bath Lighthouse Lodge for private groups and families. Enjoy hot tub, sauna, stone fireplace, pool table and satellite TV. Larsen Bay Lodge supplies fishing poles for those who haven't gotten enough during the day and want to fish after dinner on the beach or from kayaks. The lodge recently upgraded their wifi system for those that need to stay connected. And, they are fortunate to have a mini-hydroelectric plant supplying 24 hour power without the noise and waste of a generator.

Food & Beverage

Meals are prepared by our Cordon Bleu trained chef and utilize locally sourced ingredients as often as possible. A sample menu includes cream cheese stuffed french toast with homemade raspberry syrup, bacon and eggs for breakfast, snow crab cakes with chipotle aioli for an appetizer, a halibut chowder starter, blackened salmon with honey pepper sauce, roasted broccoli and rice pilaf for your main course, and rhubarb pie a la mode for dessert. Lunches are pre-packed or prepared over a campfire depending on your destination for the day.
