DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT INFORMATION FOR ALL FLY OUT TRAVEL, LLC TRIPS
The following applies to all trips booked and organized by Fly Out Travel, LLC. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as all terms are binding once a trip is booked. Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the deposit, cancellation, refund and responsibility clauses.
Because many deposits and final payments for trip packages are non-refundable, it is highly recommended that you purchase trip insurance in the event that you have to cancel, postpone or reschedule your trip for any reason. Please be aware that this is the only way that Fly Out can assist you with compensation for a cancelled trip. FLY OUT TRAVEL, L.L.C. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to all tours organized by Fly Out Travel, LLC. By signing up for a Fly Out Travel tour or packaged trip, each customer accepts all aspects of these terms and conditions.
Fly Out Travel, LLC is a Montana-based limited liability company. Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the cancellation / refund and responsibility clauses.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY FOR ALL FLY OUT TRAVEL TRIPS
Upon cancellation, Fly Out Travel, LLC will assess a $100.00 handling charge to all deposits and payments received. In addition, each individual lodge and destination may charge their own handling and/or administration fee. All cancellations must be given in writing to Fly Out Travel. Please keep in mind that Fly Out Travel and all clients must adhere to each individual lodge cancellation and refund policy. For the few lodges that do not specify or list their own cancellation / refund policy, or for the lodges that have not published said policies, then all cancellations will adhere to the following terms and conditions:
On cancellation notices less than 90 days, partial (75% - 90%) refunds/transfers may be made IF customer provides a suitable replacement.
Once again, receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the cancellation / refund and responsibility clauses for the applicable operation / destination.
Book Early This is a general rule of thumb for Alaska. Once you have been confirmed for a lodge or adventure trip in Alaska, book flights and pre or post trip hotels as soon as possible. Anchorage and many other towns in Alaska are buzzing with tourists during the summer months. Weather The weather in Alaska can change dramatically from day to day. Be prepared to dress in layers. It may be cold on the river in the morning, yet warmer in the afternoon. Plan accordingly. Bring the proper gear First, know what gear is included in your lodge or adventure package. Some lodges provide fishing waders and boots. Most lodges provide rods, reels and fishing tackle. In all cases, you will need to bring a list of personal gear that includes base layers, a good fleece or insulating layer, rain jacket, sunglasses, and a warm hat. Review your itinerary It's very important that you make sure that your flight and travel schedules coordinate appropriately with your lodge trip itinerary. In some cases you will need to overnight in Anchorage or another major town in Alaska so that you can catch an early morning bush flight to the lodge. All lodges give detailed instructions on when and where to meet their staff to transfer you to the lodge. Please double check and triple check your travel arrangments against the lodge itinerary.
