Iliamna River Lodge
Lake Iliamna, Alaska Fishing Lodge
Iliamna River Lodge sits in the heart of Alaska’s best fishing area, and is likewise surrounded by breath-taking Alaskan scenery. The lodge is nestled among pines overlooking the Iliamna River. From there, watch the float planes land and take off, or fish the fabled local waters for Trout, Salmon, and Char.
They say variety is a spice, but it’s also a gateway to unimagined possibilities. The ability to make a last minute call to chase fish on the coast or jump a float plane to explore distant water, is the most important ingredient to unparalleled adventure. Even if you decide to book the Homewater Package, fly outs can be added at a daily rate while you are at the lodge. What will tomorrow hold? The guides and pilots of the Iliamna River Lodge will show you the seemingly infinite space that Alaska offers to the angler that dares to explore and push the boundaries.
Each of the five species of Pacific Salmon enter the rivers at different times of the year. The rainbow fishing also changes throughout the season as their food source varies in the rivers. June, July, August and September all offer unique and exceptional experiences.
A day spent on the Iliamna River, running the rapids and runs upstream from a jet boat, exploring the bends and oxbows filled with native Char and massive Rainbows makes for a day one won't soon forget. Sight fish the crystal clear waters for your trophy.
